1. Mission Sunday will be celebrated starting 20th, 21st, 22nd October (Fri, Sat & Sun). Our Holy Father encourages us to take an active part by praying for the missionaries and extending support through our contributions. The collection made on these days will be sent to Vatican for Mission works. Envelopes will be distributed after each mass. Kindly enclosed your generous contribution and drop them in the box kept at the entrance of the Cathedral.
2. The Feast of All Saints Day will be celebrated on 1st November, Wednesday. On this day, there will be English Masses at 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM in the Cathedral.
3. All Souls Day will be observed on 2nd November, Thursday. On this day, there will be English Masses at 6:30 AM in the Cathedral and 7:00 PM at Bapco Awali Church.
4. On All Souls Day, the Salmabad Cemetery will be blessed at 1:30 PM and on the Old Manama Cemetery at 3:00 PM. A special collection will be made during all masses on this day for the maintenance of the cemetery.
5. The First Friday Holy Hour will be held on 3rd November at 3:00 PM.
6. The Jubilee Year Inauguration Mass and Holy Door Opening of St. Arethas will be celebrated on 4th November, Saturday at 11:00 AM, here in the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia. Everyone is welcome to attend.
7. There will be a Christmas Carol Singing Competition, open to all parishioners of the Church and Cathedral, on 14th December, Thursday, 7:30 PM on the outdoor stage of Sacred Heart Church Compound. Registration will start on 22nd October and is for 10 groups only. Registration forms are available in Sacred Heart Parish Office.
