As stated by our Apostolic Administrator, Bishop Paul Hinder, Pope Francis will be visiting Bahrain on November 03 to 06, 2022. The theme of the Apostolic Journey to the Kingdom of Bahrain has been chosen as “Peace on earth to people of goodwill”, a verse from St. Luke 2:14. The Holy Father Pope Francis will also celebrate a public Mass at the Bahrain National Stadium on Saturday, 5th of November 2022, at 8.00 in the morning. The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, founder of the Franciscan Order, will be celebrated on Tuesday, 4th of October at 7:00 PM Mass.
October is the Month of the Holy Rosary. During this month of October, the Holy Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM from Saturday to Thursday here in the Cathedral. On Fridays, the Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM in Bapco Awali Church. We also encourage you to pray the Rosary daily in your homes. Remember, the Family that prays together, stays together.
In connection with the celebration of the Month of The Holy Rosary, Our Lady of Fatima Awali Praesidium will be organizing a 1,000 Hail Mary’s and a fellowship devotion on 8th of October 2022, Saturday at 8:30 AM, starting of with a Holy Mass. Everybody is welcome to participate in Honor of our Holy Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The First Friday Parish Holy Hour will happen next week, Friday, October 7 at 4:45 PM, right after the 4:00 PM Mass. You are kindly requested to join and participate on this powerful and beautiful way to grow closer with Jesus.

We are pleased to announce that the World Youth Day will be held next year in Lisbon, Portugal from 1st to 6th August 2023. We encourage all single youth, above the age of 18, who are interested in representing Bahrain as a part of AVONA participants to register their names and phone numbers at the Parish Office as early as possible.
